The journey of opening a childcare academy began with one simple realization for Antoinette Elliott: The greatest joy in her life came from nurturing children. With over 40 years of experience tutoring, volunteering, and substitute teaching and teaching across various grade levels, including Pre-K through 12th grade, Antoinette knew that her life’s calling was to build a space where children could thrive, learn, and feel loved. Today, All Our Children Elite Childcare Academy is more than just a childcare service—it’s a community where children of all ages receive the very best foundation for a happy, healthy life.
A Career Shift Rooted in Passion and Purpose
Antoinette’s story begins at Auburn University Montgomery, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics. While the corporate world was always an option, her true calling emerged after years of caring for family and friends and working with children in educational settings. In 2007, she chose to shift gears and returned to school, eventually earning her Child Development Associate Certificate, Infant Toddler Specialist Credential, Director’s Training, facilitator credential, cpr instructor and an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
“Children have always brought me joy,” Antoinette shares. “The moment I started tutoring and teaching, I realized this was where I felt most fulfilled. I wanted to provide children with a strong, supportive start, and it became clear that this was my life’s mission.”
Her extensive educational background paired with her personal experience as a mother of four gives Antoinette a unique perspective on what children need to thrive. Even Antoinette’s younger child Peyton helps with various tasks, from cleaning to administrative support while her husband supports the overall operations.

For children aged two and under, the academy even provides diapers and wipes, further easing the burden on busy parents. Their latest project is to provide care for parents who travel to Atlanta for conferences and meetings. They now offer drop in care and even pick up service for conference attendees. As a result of Antoinette becoming a Marcus Crisis Prevention Program Trainer, she can boast that all her teachers are trained in Crisis Prevention in addition to their childcare experience that expands over 40 years. She endeavors to serve the whole child by offering a Caregiver Crisis prevention training that can help families at home.
“We’re not just a childcare center—we’re a place where parents can feel at ease, knowing that their children are not only safe but are growing, learning, and developing in the best environment possible,” Antoinette says.
Overcoming Personal Struggles to Build a Legacy
Antoinette’s journey to creating All Our Children Elite Childcare Academy was not without its challenges. She faced the loss of her mother at the young age of 12, a tragic event that shaped much of her resilience and determination. As a mother herself, Antoinette has faced the same struggles many parents experience, from balancing work and home life to finding trustworthy childcare.
“I’ve walked the same path many families are on,” Antoinette says. “The challenges we face in raising our children can be overwhelming at times. That’s why I want to ensure that All Our Children Elite Childcare Academy is a place where families can find peace of mind—knowing their children are in good hands.”
Her life experiences, both the joys and the sorrows, have contributed to her deep empathy and understanding of what families need. The foundation of the academy is built on the idea of community support—something Antoinette holds dear as both a mother and a business owner.
