Pop Sequentialism launches a holiday sale featuring curated comic book art at accessible prices, curated by Matt Kennedy.
Las Vegas, December 2025 – Pop Sequentialism, an online destination for pop culture and comic art, is offering a groundbreaking holiday sale featuring original comic book artwork at affordable prices. Established in 2011 as a traveling art exhibition, Pop Sequentialism expanded to Las Vegas as a virtual retailer in 2022. The sale includes carefully curated pieces from notable comic book creators, offering collectors a chance to acquire art at significantly lower prices compared to recent auction records.
Recent auctions have seen unprecedented prices for comic book art, with a rare 1930s Superman comic selling for $9 million and a Joker illustration by UK artist Jock fetching $288,000. While these records highlight the increasing value of comic art, the pieces on offer at Pop Sequentialism are priced to provide collectors with an affordable entry point into the market.
“As we’ve seen with recent sales, comic art is becoming a valuable asset. That Joker drawing sold for $288K. We sold one of Jock’s Batman cover illustrations last year for less than 1% of that price. What’s it worth now or in a few years?” says Matt Kennedy, curator of Pop Sequentialism. “This sale is an opportunity to purchase art at a fraction of the cost of the high-end pieces, which could increase in value as the market for comic art continues to grow.”
With other collectible markets like Pokémon cards experiencing a speculative boom, Kennedy believes comic book art could be poised for similar growth, making the current sale at Pop Sequentialism a timely opportunity for buyers looking to invest in this emerging market.
