Liz Matthews, Chief Food Innovation Officer, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “2025 will be delicious and fun because we think we’re a brand like that. Matthews also presented details on thrilling upcoming menu innovations that excite both new and returning customers.

New Menu Offerings in 2025

Taco Bell’s 2025 menu is set to introduce an enticing array of items, including:

  • Quesocrisp Taco: A unique taco with a shell made entirely of crispy baked cheese.
  • Flamin’ Hot Burrito: This spicy burrito combines Flamin’ Hot Cheetos with seasoned rice.
  • Shredded Beef and Grilled Cheese Burrito: Tender shredded beef enveloped with a melty grilled cheese layer.

After achieving a $1 billion operating profit milestone in 2024, Taco Bell plans to leverage this momentum through its new initiative, Ring The Bell, which aims to stimulate next-generation growth. The focus will be on accelerating U.S. expansion, igniting international growth, and implementing innovative strategies.

Montgomery highlighted the company’s confidence in achieving continuous sales growth, stating, “In 2025, we’ll double our food innovation and introduce digital integrations that enhance consumer interaction, including loyalty programs and e-commerce.” Furthermore, Taco Bell envisions increasing its average annual unit volume from $2.2 million to $3 million by 2030, with plans to expand its global presence from 1,150 international locations to over 3,000 by entering nations like France, Greece, and South Africa.

Taco Bell’s strategy also emphasizes the enhancement of technology and operational efficiencies to improve customer experiences. A pivotal element of this strategy includes the development of a suite of AI-driven products designed to streamline customer interactions. Park stated, “Our digital technology strategy focuses on ensuring that we provide an effortless customer experience and operational insights.”

A new ordering system aimed at expediting the drive-thru experience is also being introduced, alongside sustainability initiatives focusing on waste reduction and eco-friendly packaging. Taco Bell continues to enhance digital perks for loyalty members, ensuring exclusive access to new menu items and rewards to foster customer loyalty.
