AI Promptly Hired, LLC today announced the launch of Prep to Pitch, an innovative founder evaluation experience designed to address a persistent problem in the entrepreneurial ecosystem: founders invest enormous time preparing and presenting their businesses, yet many receive little meaningful feedback about why their pitch succeeded, fell short, or what they should do next.
Prep to Pitch is built differently.
Under the simple promise “5 Minutes. Real Feedback. Real Opportunity.”, founders from around the world can submit a five minute pitch for structured evaluation and receive an individualized written Feedback Brief designed to give them something valuable regardless of whether they advance.
“Founders are constantly told to pitch, pitch investors, pitch accelerators, pitch competitions, pitch potential partners,” said Ava C. Ivy, PhD, Founder and CEO of AI Promptly Hired. “But far too often, they put themselves and their businesses out there and receive nothing more than a decision. We wanted to create a process where the pitch itself has value. You should leave knowing more than you knew when you came in.”
A Different Approach to Founder Evaluation
Prep to Pitch combines technology with human expertise rather than treating the two as competing alternatives.
Submitted pitches undergo a structured, AI assisted preliminary evaluation against defined criteria. Top ranked founders advance to live human evaluation, bringing experienced judgment, business perspective and founder to founder insight into the process.
Each weekly evaluation period produces a Selected Founder who advances to the live final. Four Selected Founders ultimately meet in that final evaluation, where one founder will be selected to receive $1,000 in non-dilutive funding and admission to Prep to Pitch’s selected partner accelerator.
The program is open worldwide to founders 18 and older, from Idea through Series A.
The Evaluation Fee is $59 per submission, and founders who are not selected may return with a stronger pitch and participate again in a subsequent evaluation period.
That repeatability is intentional.
Prep to Pitch is designed not simply to identify strong pitches, but to help create stronger founders.
Where AI Meets Human Judgment
The model also reflects a broader question facing entrepreneurship: how should artificial intelligence be used in decisions that affect people?
For AI Promptly Hired, the answer is not to remove people from the process.
It is to use AI where it can create greater structure, consistency and scalability, while preserving human judgment where experience, context and discernment matter most.
That makes Prep to Pitch more than another place to submit a startup pitch. It is also a live demonstration of a human centered approach to AI assisted evaluation.
“AI can help us evaluate more consistently and give more founders meaningful feedback,” Ivy said. “But people still matter. Judgment matters. Experience matters. Prep to Pitch was deliberately designed around both.”
Prep to Pitch Is Now Recruiting Founders and Judges
With the program now launching, AI Promptly Hired is issuing two calls to the entrepreneurial community.

JUDGES: Prep to Pitch is also building a diverse community of experienced professionals who want to help identify and develop promising founders.
Entrepreneurs, investors, executives, business strategists, innovation leaders, subject matter experts and other experienced members of the startup ecosystem are invited to express interest in serving as judges.
Judges will have the opportunity to encounter emerging companies and ideas, contribute their expertise, and help founders sharpen businesses that may be at the very beginning of their growth trajectory.
“We aren’t looking for judges who simply want to score pitches,” Ivy added. “We are looking for people who understand what it means to build something, and who can recognize possibility while still asking the hard questions that make founders better.”
